I’ve never been backpacking, but I got my first chance this summer. I wasn’t going to buy all the gear without at least trying backpacking once, so I looked for gear I could rent. I was so glad I found OutdoorsGeek! The process was easy to research, reserve, and confirm my rental. And, even more importantly, the gear was great. We did the Ultra-Light package x 4. OG has the top-of-the-line gear and it was essentially brand new. (I know the gear was great cuz I got feedback from my friends who are experienced backpackers.) I picked up my gear in person, since I live in Denver – the people who work there are great. We spent 4 days, 3 nights deep in the Colorado Wilderness. Honestly, I don’t have time to write reviews, I wrote this one because my experience was awesome. I was kinda stressed out, trying something new, and needing gear for my whole family (4 of us). Everything worked out perfect. I just had to share – hopefully this helps someone trying to decide if OG is the way to go, and if the equipment is good and all of that. Look no further. These guys got you!
