ConvaTec Hydrocolloid Sealing Strips are thin, sterile strips consisting of a layer of hydrocolloid contained within an adhesive polymer matrix and an outer layer of polyurethane film. Supporting the Optimal Seal for Avelle Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). Indicated for use on intact skin as a securement for patients receiving NPWT and can be used to help seal leaks around the periphery of negative pressure dressings. Features: Absorptive hydrocolloid properties help to maintain NPWT seal in the presence of sweat. Thin polyurethane film provides a bacterial, viral and showerproof barrier.
