External influences can cause the nose to rapidly dry out and beome irritated. This can be remedied by supplying the nasal vestibules with sufficient moisture. The moisturising effects of hydrogel promote a favorable physiological environment which helps to prevent the settlement of bacteria. octenisan md nasal gel also supports optimal healing by keeping minor lesions of the nasal lining moist and protected. Octenisan md Nasal Gel Instructions: Unless otherwise advised, octenisan md nasal gel should be used up to twice a day as needed. Apply the nasal gel with a cotton bud in a sufficient quantity to the frontal area of the nose (nasal vestibules), so that the surface is completely covered. After applying to both nostrils, gently pinch the nose and massage between thumb and finger to ensure an even distribution of the gel. If needed, the nose should be thoroughly cleaned beforehand with a wet cotton bud. Excess gel is removed with a cotton bud or swab ensuring that a moist film remains. Direct contact with the opening of the tube should be avoided to prevent contamination with germs.
