IFAM CS88 RIM LOCK IFAM CS88 RIM LOCK for Rim Cylinder (cylinder not included) There is a slot on the back plate to enable a rim cylinder to be mounted for external access or the rim lock can be used just as a deadlocking slide bolt. The deadlock bolt slides either side of the case which effectively means that it is handed both ways so can be fitted on left hand and right hand operating doors. There is a snib fitted, which can be seen on the top right of the picture, to enable the deadbolt to be locked off completely if required. Please note that this would also render key operation from the outside by rim cylinder inoperable. Rim Dead Lock for Rim Cylinder Features: Steel body rim lock. 17mm square sliding bolt. Works for doors left or right opening. Snib function can hold the bolt in locked or withdrawn position. Once operated it prevents key holders from using the lock externally.
