It is also suitable for slight burns and sunburn. The specialised formula of octenisept gel provides optimal moisture to support a moist wound-healing environment. It forms a protective layer against bacteria, inactivating germs within the gel, while its cooling effect helps relieve acute itching. Octenisept gel is colourless and non-stinging on application. Product Profile: Tissue tolerability and biocompatibility of octenisept gel. Non-irritating, non-sensitising, pain-free, without tissue toxicity, no impairment of granulation or epithelialisation. The tolerability of octenidine has been confirmed by clinical experience over many years in addition to clinical studies on chronic wounds. Octenilin Wound Gel Instructions: Perform hand hygiene before undertaking wound care. Clean the wound and spray with octenisept wound antiseptic immediately after the injury occurs. Apply a thin layer of wound gel and then cover with a dressing or plaster as required. Apply the wound gel once or twice a day, until the wound has healed up completely. Octenilin Wound Gel Ingredients: Aqua purificata, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Octenidine HCl. Contraindications: Do not use octenisept gel continuously for longer than 2 weeks without medical supervision. To prevent possible tissue damage, octenisept gel must not be applied on cartilage, in the ear and nose and must not be allowed to enter the eye. General safety instructions: For external use only.
