DURAFIBER dressing is a highly absorbent non woven gelling fiber dressing which is designed to provide clinicians with a versatile solution for managing medium to highly exuding wounds. Composed from a unique new dressing technology, DURAFIBER forms a soft cohesive gel on contact with wound exudate which rapidly absorbs and locks in excess fluid and any harmful bacteria it may contain. DURAFIBER dressing effectively controls the lateral spread of fluid so minimising the risk of peri-wound maceration and contours intimately to the wound bed thereby helping to maintain a moist wound environment and reducing the potential for dead space.
