3M Reston Self-Adhering Foam Products consist of a porous polyurethane foam covered on one side with a hypoallergenic, acrylate adhesive and a protective, easy to remove, silicone coated paper release liner. Reston self-adhering foam products are designed to protect against skin damage from splints, casts, and prostheses. It may be used as padding for such devices as beds, chairs, and operating room tables. Key Features:  Versatile padding adheres well to a variety of surfaces. Lightweight and comfortable padding can be cut, layered and shaped, allowing it to be adapted for many applications. Available in medium and high-support pads or light support foam roll to meet your application needs. Foams can protect the skin from damage caused by splints, casts and prostheses. Hypoallergenic Area of Application: First & Second Degree Burns Low-Heavily Exuding Wounds Leg Ulcer Pressure Ulcer Contraindications: This product is not to be used as a dressing in post-surgical treatment procedures such as liposuction. Warnings: Reston self-adhering foam products have not been evaluated for use as a compression dressing material in surgical procedures such as liposuction. The product should not be applied to the skin under tension. Such uses can result in damage to the skin such as blistering or tearing which may lead to hypopigmentation and the risk of serious infection.
