Flamigel Hydroactive Colloid Gel 50g

$25.52 $33.43
Flamigel is a hydroactive colloid gel used to treat minor wounds and support the fast healing of skin by covering the wound and creating an optimal moist healing environment. Flamigel Features: Promotes Wound Healing: Contains hydrocolloid properties to absorb excess fluid and maintain water balance, and hydrogel properties to moisturize and debride wounds. This creates an optimal moist environment that allows wounds to heal up to 40% faster and reduces the risk of scarring. Protective Skin Barrier: Creates a barrier to protect against external contaminants. Refreshing Effect: Cools and soothes the pain. Flamigel Suitable For: Minor wounds (e.g. cuts, grazes) Superficial burns (including those caused by radiotherapy) Post laser therapy and cryotherapy Flamigel Directions Wash your hands before and after treating the wound. Clean and dry the wound gently before applying Flamigel. For superficial burns and minor wounds (e. g. grazes, cuts): Carefully apply Flamigel to the wound (without rubbing) once or twice a day (in case of sunburn apply twice to six times daily). If necessary, cover the wound with a plaster or dressing and change it daily. For superficial open wounds: Apply a thick layer of Flamigel (5 mm) to the wound minimizing contact with the wound edges, cover Flamigel with a sterile non-adhesive dressing and fix with a gauze or bandage. Leave Flamigel in place as long as the gel structure is intact. Renew Flamigel when it has disappeared. When new skin cells start to form and the wound is closing, apply only a thin layer of Flamigel to prevent weakening. If necessary, protect the wound edges. For open wounds: Change daily. Removing the gel: Wash hands before and after removing Flamigel. Flamigel can be removed simply and painlessly with wet gauze. Warnings: For external use. Side effects such as irritations or allergic reactions are rare. Do not use Flamigel when there is a known allergic reaction to parabens or any of the listed ingredients. Do not use Flamigel on the eyelids or in the eyes. On extensive weeping or infected wounds consult a doctor before using Flamigel because other complementary treatments might be necessary. If the wound becomes swollen, reddened or painful or doesn’t start to heal within a few days seek medical advice. Note: Once open can be used up to expiry date.
