This elegant box is decorated with guilloche enamel and is crafted in a combination of 925 silver and silver-gilt. It was made by Finnigans Ltd in London in 1922. Guilloche is a decorative technique in which fine, intricate patterns are produced by using a rotating lathe to engrave a design into a metal surface.
