Rear brake pedal for the KTM 790/890, all models 2017-Current. Our pedal is machined from billet aluminum opposed to porous cast, and has a significantly larger cross-section in the areas where the stock pedal has proven to be weak. We use blind mounting holes for the pedal pad screws that yield a ‘C’ shaped cross-section which is much stronger than two parallel walls left from the through holes used on the stock pedal. Unlike other KTM Adventure bikes, the 790/890 uses a bolt for a hard stop that is threaded right in to one of the highest stress areas of the pedal. We maintained the factory adjustability of using a threaded bolt for the hard stop, but made the necessary geometry changes to strengthen this weak area in the event of a hard hit. For extra insurance, we do recommend running a brake snake from the pedal pad to the frame. All of our products are made with pride in the USA.
