Description The silver anodized SILER extrusion has a slightly wider design than our standard strip light profiles, allowing you to create water tight lighting fixtures with the use of our silicon coated waterproof strip lights. The 14.6mm wide mounting base is large enough to accommodate most sizes of 8mm and 10mm waterproof strip lights. Please note that factory strip light end caps and wire leads may need to be cut off or modified in order to apply the frosted cover. For the best waterproofing techniques it is recommended that the cover, end caps and any exposed solder joints be sealed using a waterproof, UV resistant, outdoor rated and non-conductive silicon. The available frosted cover provides very good light diffusion with a line of light effect using high density LED strip lights. The profile can be mounted using mounting clips, VHB tape, screws, or construction grade adhesive. Perfect for building facades and trim, outdoor steps, garages, outdoor furniture and architecture.
