Description The TEKNIK and TEKUS aluminum drywall mounts are designed to embed stunning modern LED strip lighting fixtures directly into drywall ceilings, walls, coves, or any other suitable architectural features. The TEKNIK mount is designed for 1/2″ drywall while the TEKUS mount is meant for 5/8″ drywall. By cutting a groove into your drywall and then screwing the winged edge of the extrusion into the drywall you can then have a mounting channel for our KL3 type extrusions using a minimum of 6 plastic mounting clips per 1 meter. Compatible extrusions include the GIP, GIZA, LIPOD and LOKOM styles channels with any of the available cover options.
