This bacterial filter is based on the same filtering technology used in N-95 respirators. The TestSafe™ Mouthpiece traps expelled bacterial and viral particles from an exhaled breath sample, filtering 99.99% of bacterial particles and 99.93% of viral particles. These filtering efficiencies help protect both the operator and the subject.A check valve allows for the one-way flow of air, preventing subjects from sucking air back through the filter and mouthpiece.
